Last night I received an email from a client asking for some advice about how to post videos on the net.

I haven't hadn't done a lot of that yet and I told her so. But I knew I couldn't leave it at that.  I did what I could to research the issue and forward what I learned onto my client.  Why?  Because she came to me for some help and did what I could to help.

Now did I bill her for this, ofcourse not.  It didn't take a lot of time and it was knowledge I was going to need eventually anyway.  More importantly, however, was helping out someone whose relationship I valued.
